The plastic piece the spring attaches to was broke. Upon first use it seemed to open with no resistance and then wouldn’t retract. After pulling the tube out of the cassette the plastic piece had broken just above where the spring attaches so I have an awning I can’t close.

Instructions were so bad...I can't imagine buying anything like this again. Warning! Instructions are unbelievable and hard to follow.

2nd shipment was recieved damaged

Item seems to be overall hood quality however was already damaged when I opened the box in my living room.

Wasn’t what I expected but worked nevertheless.

First, the shipment was late. The company did not ship the item when they originally said they would, which already put it behind schedule. Once it was finally shipped, UPS also missed loading it onto the truck one day. In total, the awning arrived about four days later than expected. And had we not been willing to spend several hours on the phone with UPS and drive over an hours each way on a Saturday, who knows when or if we would have ever gotten it! Because this was a business purchase that we needed for the weekend, we ultimately had to drive over an hour to a UPS hub on a Saturday to pick it up ourselves in order to get it in time. When we finally opened the package at our business location, we discovered that the awning housing was dented and damaged. Under normal circumstances we would have returned it, but because the shipment had already been delayed several days and we urgently needed it for our flea market setup, we had no real option other than to keep it and make do with the damaged unit. I do have photos of the damage. It’s in multiple spots. Buyers should be aware that delivery timelines may not match what is promised, and if you are relying on this for a specific event or business use, you may want to allow extra time or consider other options.

Arrived Damaged beyond repair.

The recoil springs don’t maintain the tautness over time. They were great at first but sagging now, requires a secondary tieback.

Everything is good in regards to price, quality, function etc. but can not use when there is any breeze at all.

The product didn’t work like I had hoped or what was demonstrated in the photos. Cheap product, poor materials and build quality. Customer service and an absolute nightmare to work with and they WILL NOT refund you unless you meet their criteria. Buyer beware- once you purchase, your money is gone regardless of if it works like it’s supposed to.
