This is what I was looking for a good drill press at a reasonable price that covers all my needs like the speed controller you can slow it to 540 up to 3200 at least that's what the readout says made a stand for it to set on in the shop to make it handier happy with the outcome thanks

The drill press is easy to assemble. It is perfect for the home projects I will use it for. Have used it twice to make blanket ladders for family members and it was so easy to drill the holes to the correct depth. I highly recommend this drill press for home hobbyists.

The price is really good. Shipping was fast and free, and it drills nice. That's the positive. It did not come with a laser work light, as described, and did not come with a LED digital screen, as described. But that being said, it does perform well for my limited use so far. I am not disappointed with the drill press, just wish they would deliver on what was described.

I have been making candle holders on a wood lathe.the drill press was a nice addition for drilling a hole in the top of the holder for the brass insert.

just got done putting my 12 inch vevor drill press together and testing it out. unbelievable, virtually 0 runout variable speed works like a champ and the chuck is a huge 5/8". How vevor can make such a quality machine for such a low price with free shipping is unreal. rpm guage, variable speed, well designed and is going to be a great addition to my shop...

Salve, mi sarebbe piaciuto di più se la variazione della velocità invece di meccanica sarebbe stata elettronica con motore inverter, ho dovuto sostituire il braccetto di leva per il cambio della velocità con uno più lungo perchè era difficoltoso a scalare la velocità in quanto è duro comunque ora è più confortevole.Per quanto riguarda il resto sono soddisfatto, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è sensaltro buono, lo consiglio a tutti.

I just purchased 10" model two days ago. When I tried to tilt the table, following the instructions in the user manual, the locking pin which locks the table at 0 degree bevel angle got snapped and the pin is now stuck in the mating hole of the table. Apparently, the threaded part of the locking pin was somehow bent as shown in the picture. I'll try to contact the customer service and see if they can send me a replacement for the table. Other than this issue, the drill press works as described.

Received within 3 days or so, package in good condition. The Items were in good condition, contents matches description. --> In Short: I was impressed by how CLEAN everything was, no metal swarf or sand or other hard to remove grime, surprisingly no or very minimal burrs, good paint application. The main post/tube is well ground, including its Aluminium machined bottom cap. It's very thin tubing however, less than .049" wall thickness. --> Works fine without grinding noises, the slack in the quill+quill spring/gear +rack is noticeable (and expected) but doesn't cause excessive wandering in light duty use (twist drills up to 7/16" in soft wood, plywood, MDF/Hardboard/Particleboard) --> The provided 1/2" keyed chuck works smoothly, the table bracket keeps the table in place and only required minimal lapping* and lubrication. *Lapping the top flat on a surface plate to help in setting up the table square to the column. --> The quill has visible movement side to side + front to back and the Arbor has an odd Axial play (up down by about 1/4"), but doesn't cause excessive runout or wandering issues in light use yet. THE ISSUES: --> The Base Plate and the Table are BENT/BOWED, Had to replace/modify** : - Both made of stamped sheet metal, and both of them are BENT/BOWED. - The Table is not useable because of the excessive curvature! - The Base plate was not flat enough on its feet to keep the drill stable, and had significant burrs. ** I had spare parts from a broken down store bought drill presses that were gathering dust and modified them to fit this Vevor 8inch model. --> The MOTOR BRACKET keeps the motor misaligned: - With the motor angled (tilted) no matter the adjustment in tension, makes the belt grind itself on the pulleys. --> The DEPTH STOP is flimsy and unreliable to control the depth with any sort of precision. But it is useable for rough adjustment. Overall it works surprisingly well and I hope it will help me, along with the Vevor MX 8x14 Mini lathe I also purchased and reviewed, to repair my bigger Floor Drill Press purchased from a Canadian retailer for $$$$ (that retail store drill press was built so sloppy it drills worse than handheld, and it required so much cleaning of casting sand and swarf...)

Tres bien mais il y a un probleme qui gache tout si on ne connait pas la solutions. Ca fait Un bruit horrible Quand on s'en sert, le probleme vient du cache noir et du ventilateur qui se touche et donc ca fait un bruit horrible. Il suffit de démonter le cache (cf photo) et de le remettre le plus bas possible pour que ca ne se touche pas, c'est monté en usine et cette erreur gachera tout pour celui qui ne le sait pas. Sinon je suis trés content du matériel, j'ai fait un packet de trou
