Great machine Mechanically for the price, just the electronics that have let it down, it was going good until it suddenly went bang and smoke coming from the rear, on investigation I found 2 capacitators and the rectifier had blown, so rather having a lot of back and foreword Emails I ordered new ones, which I hope will fix it, Should this not work maybe you could supply a new Board ?

Nice little machine. Don't buy for making threads. Most of the gear combinations shown on the chart are impossible to do (0.50, 0.75, 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, 10, 11, 20, 28, 38, 40 and 44). Two of them need 44 and 70 tooth gears witch are not included (11 and 38).

Overall a good machine. The gibs are not easy to adjust right, especially on the x axis. The tail piece fit is poor. But with some love, it can be made to work fine. For the price, a good machine if you are willing to work on it.

Good power for turning most metals. Quick setup and operational in no time. Little to no runout on the chuck.

It is a nice metal lathe. the only disregard I can find is it doesn't have any clearance for the power feed screw and it does have an Off/On Switch.

Before buying I did my due diligence, read reviews and watched lots of youtube videos, so I though I knew pretty all I needed to know about this lathe. However, one thing I didn't know was that even though the thru-lathe bore is 32mm, the bore of the chuck is only about 20mm (I didn't measure it exactly)... Therefore, if you're counting on using the thru-bore to turn long pieces, know that you're limited to about 20mm in diameter with this chuck. If you're planning on machining something bigger that way, you'll need to either buy (and fit) a bigger chuck, a collet chuck or some alternative way of mounting your piece. VEVOR should mention this in the description because it misleads people (like me...) into thinking they're gonna be able use the thru-lathe bore on pieces up to 32mm in diameter...

Very quick delivery! Well packaged and the machine arrived without damage. Overall build quality is very good. It runs reasonably quiet all the way up to a displayed 2500rpm. The feed-lever engagement is not very solid, will see how it performs when I start using the machine.

Save your hard earned cash, spend a bit more and buy a much better lathe (unless you only plan to turn wood or plastic!)

This product was great until it didn’t work any longer. I tried to file a claim under the extended warranty that I had purchased and Vevor would not honor the warranty. Do yourself a favor and never buy from Vevor, especially do not purchase protection plans as they will not honor it!. After two solid weeks of discussion they offered me $68 to have the machine repaired locally without any referrals or anything . If Vevor will honor their warranty that I purchased, will gladly rate this differently. Pis poor customer service.

après mure réflexion, je me suis lancé dans l'achat de ce tour chinois car il était abordable au niveau prix! j avais consulté les avis sur internet et je savais qu au niveau qualité ce n était pas le top, mais voila j ai craqué! je précise que je n ai jamais manipulé de tour auparavant, j ai regardé beaucoup de tutos . les moins: jeux mécaniques a reprendre de partout! les filetages chinois ont beaucoup de jeu!!! il n'y avait pas d'indication de vitesse le capteur n’était pas bien positionné( donc pas essayé). le moteur sans charbons tourne irrégulièrement a basse vitesse! le mandrin de 100mm est beaucoup trop petit, on peut travailler sur de toutes petites pièces!! aucun outil livrés avec!! les plus: le prix, la livraison rapide.
