When you use all of the pieces to make the pole as long as possible, it is impossible to lift the pole where you want it onto a tree branch. It is very heavy. I had to use my sidebyside as leverage. Once in the tree, it took forever to cut. I have seen sharper blades and this does not have them. The pole itself seems durable though and eventually, it got the job done.

It's well build, the locking mechanism is the best I have used. Because it is so sturdy, it's also (too) heavy to use. I dont use it to saw (but that works too), but to set ropes in trees. Best way is to screw it together as you go, always adding a part at the bottom while keeping the pole upright. I would prefer pieces of 1,6 meter so it's lesser pieces (and lesser weight). Of course pieces of 1 meter are easy to stow away and carry.

Quick and easy to use, an Allan key and a Spanner for the two bolts would be great. Make it a complete kit, and it all fits into the bag.

Het zagen zelf moet geduldig gebeuren, zonder kracht te zetten. Een tak van 8 cm dikte is het maximum denk ik. Er zit een plastic beschermkap in de verpakking, én een reservezaag.

En effet, la perche est très flexible et dés lors qu'elle est au sol, c'est assez difficile à la relever. Sinon, que dire que je suis ravi.. j'ai taillé deux palmiers à environ dix mètres de haut... et une branche d'arbre de plus de 10 centimètres de diamètre à 8 mètres. Le seul bémol... il faut régulièrement enfoncer les goupilles qui ont tendance à sortir de leur emplacement.

I bought this for several broken upper tree branches. I was able to cut several cuts using all the extensions. Once all the sections are assembled this thing is difficult to maneuver and control. The fiberglass sections flexed a lot, so you have to coordinate your sawing strokes to match the flexing. If you get too aggressive the blade will jump out of the cut due to the bouncing of the pole. I didn't have any quality problems, so my experience seemed to point to good quality, but more usage could uncover other problems. The only thing I would have preferred would have a more aggressive blade to cut the branch faster. The spare blade is identical to the original blade. It would have been nice to have one small tooth saw and a large tooth blade as well.

This is a solid very long pruner unfortunately not telescopic . While a solid peace of kit it becomes week at higher settings so must be gentle. While relatively easy to screw together l would try to use at longest settings only. Other telescopic pruners can do that job better. However this is would be great if you have a few extra large trees in your garden and that is all it's used for. You could pay £20-40 each for pruning saws each(without poles or extensions) so offers great value. Shame it doesn't have any options for a lopper.
