La fresa funciona muy bien en sí el único problema es que para regular la profundidad de corte tiene un tornillo y una palanca que bloquea la profundidad de la fresa a la distancia deseada. Mi experiencia con maderas no muy duras y con profundidades por debajo de los tres milímetros es que esa palanca no bloquea completamente la profundidad de la fresa. Para poder usar y lograr un manejo aceptable tengo que bloquear la parte móvil con cinta de embalar. No sé si será un defecto en todas las fresas o si tuve mala suerte con esta que he comprado.

Best aardige kantenfrees. Ondanks dat de beschrijving aangeeft dat de motor een softstart heeft is dat niet het geval. Op hoogste snelheid geeft hij dan ook een aardige ruk aan je handen. Niet heel fijn. Prijs kwaliteit is in orde. Ik gebruik het zelf voor een freestafel, maar voor handwerk zou ik de originele Makita freesmachine nemen. Beter en veiliger.

Manque de précision, les guides ont trop de souplesse. L’interrupteur est mal positionné, ergonomie peu facile.

Wether this is a good value depends on what you need. The motor is great with plenty of power for a trim router. The bases and accessories are quite junky but functional. Because the bases are kinda junky they are hard to work with and not very accurate. If you need a motor for a table great, if you need a trim router for occasional use it's ok, if you need a trim router for regular or precise work it's a no go.

It's not great, but it fills the need I had and therefor I will keep it. The base is poorly made and I honestly can not use it at all. The machine it self works though. I bought this one as my extra and mounted it permanently in my router table since it a hassle to take it out every time you need it somewhere else. It's like it's a bit slow to start off and ramps up in speed after 10-20 seconds, but I don't mind. It feels sturdy enough to not break and explode in my face. The bit is easy to secure and it can tale most of the ones i use. All in all a solidly mediocre machine at a great price point.

The provided collet is an ER style but the taper and nut are for a makita style collet, although having sourced one of those it only kind of fits. DO NOT USE THE PROVIDED COLLECT, it doesn't fit and and the runout causes scary vibrations.

Overall, its a nice little router, and the amount of additional features and attachments are nice. My issue was with the plunge base. The first plunge base I received didn't plunge. It moved about a half inch then bound up. I contacted customer service and after a few days of exchanging emails, they sent me another unit. The second plunge base plunged like butter, super smooth action, however the router did not seat properly in it. After applying a little extra force trying to get the router to seat properly in the base, one half of the compression fitting part snapped clean off. Since the replacement they sent included another actual router, I resigned to just letting that router live in that base, and original router could still be used with other accessories. So in the end, I can use it for what I needed it for, just beware that it will likely have some issues. May take some customer service conversations or creative thinking to work around them.
