It's great and is so much better than all the dust going directly to the shop vac. I haven't tried other cyclones but love being able to see the dust spinning and going into the bin, and also there's a little window at the top of it so you can easily when it's almost full, I hadn't see this in the product description!

Très efficace pour ma raboteuse et le scie circulaire. Plus besoin de nettoyer le filtre d'aspirateur chaque 10 min. Bonne qualité de fabrication, et surtout il correspond exactement à mes attentes.

Utilisé derrière la scie sur table Vevor il fonctionne à merveille. Je l'ai branché sur un aspirateur de chantier avec prise commandé. De cette façon l'aspirateur se met en route automatiquement avec la scie sur table. On voit bien les copeaux se séparer du flux. Je recommande.

Good quality, works awesome. The inlet is 4 inch but comes with reductions, works great with my starmix shopvac with hose diameter of 35mm. I used the hose that comes with the cyclone to attach to the shopvac and use my long starmix hose from the cyclone to the tool. I didnt need any other adapters than what comes with the package. Awesome!

Have been using this affordable but high production quality device in co with my sandblasting cabinet for over 6 months now - excellent piece of equipment, does all I ask of it, keeps me dust-free. Vacuum cleaner attached to it requires regular filter cleaning, other than that the self-sticky tape around the clear plastic cyclonic part could do with some improvement, as the pipe can separate from the chamber due to the somewhat weak tension held by the tape. Overall, very happy with this product for the price.

This cyclone dust collector is big and can handle a lot. Look at the size difference between the bigbox store version. (See pic) i filled up the 13 gallon drum and this was all that i had in my vacuum. See pic just a small bit of dirt, 0 saw dust. I would so buy again. I actually think the step down from 4" to 2" helps in the cyclone effect. To connect the hose i used 1 1/2" rubber pipe splicer.

The dust separation seems to work very well. The tank is a bit unstable due to the fact that it only has three casters and is quite tall. Placing it in a corner solved the problem. The weak point is the adapters provided for connecting the hoses. They are not industry standard. I couldn't find any and had to make some out of plywood, which worked perfectly. It's good value for money. I recommend it.
