I bought this compost roller for a lawn renovation to roll out mushroom compost. Peat moss is expensive and depleting our bogs so stop using that. This is typical Chinese quality, it’ll work for a few uses and then begin to fall apart. The latches are in the side but I hit a rock and bent one. They’re easy to bend back but that just shows the poor quality material and brittleness. The hatch is nice but it’s not a latched on hatch, there’s metal prongs that slip into cut outs to keep it secured in the non latch side. So everytime you need to fill it you basically have to take it off. That takes like 30 seconds but it’s just annoying when you’re rolling 6000 sqft. It worked decent for mushrooms soil. The issue I found was that some of the chunks of soil were too big to fit through the slits but that s just how compost is. Overall this was better than hand spreading. It laid a nice even surface. I would recommend it to a diy’er

Works well with sand, compost, and dirt. This particular size is good for a smaller yard since the hopper is on the small side but it lays down the material very well.

Product as advertised, the distribution holes are a little large which means more frequent refills. The product is well made and the assembly was very convenient and simple.

Prima toestel, goede verdeling van het zand. Enig nadeel is dat je regelmatig moet bijvullen, om de 10 meter is de bak leeg.

I have not had an issues with this product. Good price, quality, and works as advertised!! I Recommend product.

I got the vector compost spreader to add peat and press new grass seed into my new lawn. Worked great. I did dent it by tipping it on its side, so be careful. My baby grass is happy.

This is definitely better than spreading with a shovel or by hand but one drawback is when rolling out the compost there is a wide strip that is bare due to the width of the removable door frame added to the supports on the roller for the door frame. If only applying one coat, you have to go back and manually cover over those gaps or put another layer perpendicular and hope the second set of gaps don't align with the first set of gaps.

Nicely built and works well for spreading peat moss and seed mix. I received this product in less than a week and was pleased with the ease of use, it's made well and should last quite a while. I would recommend this product.

... Mais certains perçages ne sont pas alignés ; Prévoyez donc une perceuse et une mèche en plus pour le montage ! C'est dommage ces fabrications approximatives car le produit est bien utile. Servi pour épandre du terreau sur une semence de gazon, l'utilisation a été d'une grande efficacité et facilité.
