Produit globalement de bonne qualité, solide et pratique au quotidien. Le système d’ouverture et de fermeture fonctionne correctement lorsque la connexion est maintenue. En revanche, un point de conception pose problème : la connexion d’alimentation est située en haut de la porte et reste accessible aux poules. Elles la picorent régulièrement et parviennent parfois à la débrancher. Dans ce cas, la porte ne se referme plus puisqu’elle n’est plus alimentée par les piles, ce qui peut laisser le poulailler ouvert durant la nuit. C’est dommage, car le produit serait excellent avec une connexion mieux placée, protégée ou sécurisée.

Works okay but couldn't get it to close all the way, also if you're using shavings in the coop make sure there's a gap at the bottom for the shaving to fall out or they will jam up in the tracks or the door.

I can get the batteries to last more than a few days in this unit. It works great and does what I expected other than the battery issue. I’m going to see if I can figure out a lithium battery pack or similar to resolve the issue but it’s a little frustrating that I have to

Pour son prix, la porte est très bien. Seul bémol, je ne suis pas du tout satisfait du système anti pincement. Je m’attendais à avoir un capteur qui détecte la poule et stop la descente de la porte, mais pas du tout. Quand la porte force, ça fait ripper l’engrenage et la porte remonte. Sauf que la porte force beaucoup, et aillant des poussins, je pense qu’ils risquent de se faire écraser. Également pas satisfait de la fermeture manuelle, la porte se réouvre au bout de quelques minutes, alors que si je veux la fermer, c’est pour empêcher qu’elle s’ouvre.

So far this has been ok to use. The pros: extremely easy to install and set up. Like that it has the plug in option as I live in a cold climate. The price was cheap compared to other automatic doors. The cons: doesn’t close all the way at night and I have had to manually go out and get it to close all the way. For some reason it will close about 80%, leaving a 2-3” opening at the bottom. I’m going to try troubleshooting this on the weekend, but haven’t had time to do this yet. I have been using the timed opening, not the light sensor. I’m hopeful it will work when the temperatures drop this winter, but am not holding my breath. Will update review once the cooler temps hit. My last door from Vevor was 3x more expensive and didn’t survive the winter.

Overall the door is great, but the plug in for the power source of the door is located on the face of the door- where the birds go in and out. My birds quickly found the wire and pulled it out and destroyed it, making the unit powerless. Hoping vevor can send me a replacement battery pack, and I can figure out a way to plug it in an prevent the birds from pulling the cord apart again.

Thought this door would be nice for my chickens but it is a constant problem. Works sometimes then stops working altogether. Disappointing to say the least!

1 porte sur les deux ne fonctionne pas. Après plusieurs jours de discussion, ils m'ont rembourser la porte, sauf que je dois en recommander une. Les frais de port sont à ma charge pour une deuxième expédition, déçu il ne m'ont pas répondu à ma demande de renvoi d'une nouvelle porte.
