UPDATE Very poor customer service and insulting offer instead of issuing a return on a damaged and non working item HOWEVER IN THE END THEY DID COME THROUGH WITH A FULL REFUND also, the item I received was a dud and yes less robust that more expensive models, but my experience was with a damaged item so its usefulness can be better judged by other reviews After several days of delay, they offered $83 on an item I paid close to $300 for instead of honoring their return promise. READ MORE Firstly this item arrived damaged, the plastic it is made of is very cheap and the cage around the pull start was broken. One of the metal retaining rings was bent Leading me to think this was a return that they sent out as new. OK I was going to live with the damage but when we tried to use it, it would not run for more than a couple of minutes then stall running extremely roughly when it did run. So I repacked it for return and notified Vevor who then sent a note they would reply within 48 hours, the reply eventually came and was a list of suggestions like did I put gas in it,,, I am a mechanic so, ya gassed it up, I replied, then got another we will get back to you in 48 hrs, after 48 I replied again asking the hold up, got another we will reply in another 48. The next day they came back with the $83 offer. So as mentioned above in the end the issue was resolved satisfactorily

I absolutely hate this thing. I'm a home builder and contractor with tons and tons of tools. Pros: Yes it has quite a bit of power. Cons. Tried 3 new trimmer lines, it breaks them all off in a matter of minutes so you have to pull the head off and restring it. It's really hard to get the line thru the holes to restring It's really hard to get the head open to get the line out of it Starting it is idiotic as the on / off switch is right next to the throttle, and when you pull the starter rope it's nearly impossible to not push the button to off. It's super stupid. It's hard to pull start. It is incredibly heavy, at least they gave you a shoulder strap, that does help a lot The shoulder strap is idiotic, it's hard to figure out which way it is worn, there's some quick release on the quick release that is completely stupid and a pain in the butt. I've never bought a product I was more disappointed in, and I have a lot of VEVOR stuff and am happy with everything else, this trimmer is absolutely stupid, I'd like to return it.

My order says it’s delivered but I don’t have it. This really hurts because me and my family are just getting our landscaping business off the road

Motor broke off shaft the first use

Just assembled the bush saw and went to start up the motor when I noticed the casing and screw cap on the fuel filter were both cracked and broken..looks like it had been way over tightenedin factory. I tried to start the motor with everything set as it should be for a cold start but no luck after multiple pulls. Gave it some time and attempted to start again and pull chord came right out from the reel. Ive had some good experience with other Vevor products and expected the same with this but am quite disappointed with the quality of this product and the shape it arrived in.

I bought it to work at the farm, but it won't throttle? Please help, so that I can buy other products!

It was delivered on time, but the package was opened upon delivery. This is how the product was delivered. The box was fully opened. I do not know which part is missing or not working. I am disappointed and may return the equipment.

Upon receipt of the shipment, I started assembly of the product according to the supplied manual. I found that a couple items that needed assembly were not as described or drawn in the manual, so I thought that they had not sent me some parts, but found that other parts would work and figured out myself how they should be assembled (they must have redesigned these items without updating the manual). Day 1 - I had just used the grass trimmer for the first time and suddenly the motor stopped running. I turn to look at the motor and the gas tank is down on the grass. The 3 bolts that hold it to the motor were goneand it had only been running for about 30 minutes. Day 2 - I used a magnet to search through the grass for the bolts and I did find one of them.  Seems that each socket head cap screw bolt has a small flat washer, a small lockwasher, and a larger flatwasher to retain the tank.  As such, they are too special to find at the hardware store and I needed the factory fasteners sent to me . I also asked how would I go about ordering and extra spool, B20, for this trimmer for which I never received an answer. Day 5 – They sent me the same message they sent me on Day 1. Day 7 - I asked if they could please advise me of the status of this problem? Day 8 - They replied, "Could you purchase the bolts locally or online? The specifications are M5*25 socket head cap screws" (without telling me whether it was fine or course thread and the fastener that I found was 32mm long, not 25mm) "We are now offering a refund of CAD 30 as compensation." I replied, again, that I had already taken the one socket head cap screw, that I managed to find in the grass with a magnetic wand, to my local hardware store and they could not provide a replacement. I would have thought that I would have received these items by that time instead of waiting for 8 days to be told to get it myself. I then asked, if they cannot get these items from your own factory, I asked them to source out the same items and send them to me as promptly as they could, otherwise, credit my credit card for the full amount of the purchase, send someone here to pick up your product, so that I can go to the hardware store and buy a similar item for a store that will serve me properly. Day 9 - They offered me CAD 90 for the inconvenience. I refused, they then offered me a refund CAD 180 to compensate for my loss which I then accepted. I ordered both course and fine thread 5 mm fasteners so that I could determine myself which was required. I could only get 25mm long fasteners, not 32 as the original were, therefore they had less engagement then the originals, I used Loctite to keep them from backing out which is working fine, the one original fastener still needs to be retighten (as I thought I would keep and eye on it when I went to use it afterwards). I will be adding Loctite to that fastener too! The trimmer is very heavy to use even with the harness.

Worked pretty good for 2-3 yards. Thought it would be handy to have a multi accessory tool available but screws started backing out immediately. It's heavy, and it's not as powerful as a 21cc weed eater. The speed head doesn't line up so you have to remove the trimmer head to put string in. Which is very difficult requires a flat tip to press it in to release so you can load it. The crank down speed head option works well for loading the trimmer line. I had to zip tie the throttle handle on first day. I've run tru fuel for its 3 week life and it won't start anymore. Didn't use any attachments because I hadn't had the opportunity before it failed. Currently working with customer service to remedy issue. Seems like a good deal until it dies mid job and you have to go buy another option to finish the yard.

0 STARS!! Very poor quality. You get what you pay for… but I was not expecting this many issues. Have used it twice, both times for very short periods. Both times the engine began over-revving, and continued revving after releasing the throttle. After brief periods of use, if turned off for more than a few seconds, THE ENGINE WILL NOT START AGAIN. Every aspect is flimsy. The attachments connect with barely any purchase and are only held in with a flimsy retaining pin, such that they wobble around. The unit is way too heavy for extended overhead use. The harness is okay for ground work, but no help for anything above head-height. It is extremely loud! And, for example the hedge trimmer attachment does not operate unless you give it full throttle, which, again, in my case resulted in engine racing. The throttle trigger is clunky, cheap, and rough. Basically have 0, half, and full. The entire handgrip and controls are so cheap, they feel like a cheap toy, flexing, poorly fitting, with sharp edges all over the place. The safety catch gets stuck and has to be messed with every other time. The stop switch has to be one of the most minor, yet annoying flaws: it is too close to where you have to grip (due to the crunchy safety) and it has no resistance, no “click”, so it’s constantly slipping and stopping the engine!! The instructions are horrible. They’re missing steps for the parts covered, and missing some pieces entirely. I can’t return it apparently, and I can’t sell it in good conscience… so what am I supposed to do?
