I installed this unit myself with zero issues. It’s so much quieter than my old pump, I can hardly hear it running. Zero issues with WiFi connectivity and the SmartLife app is working great for me. I have a brand new TP-Link Deco 7 router. The signal strength at the unit is probably 70%. This should be judged by download speed, not by what your signal strength meter shows on your phone. Unit has been running for two weeks with no issues. Love that I can see real-time power consumption. It’s so nice to be able to schedule when the pump runs and at what speed from the app, even if I’m not home. Installing all 15 amp 240v outlet for this added a little more to the installation than I was expecting, but it’s nice that if I ever need to service the pump I can unscrew the water connections and unplug it from the outlet. You can search B0DMNWX9BG if you want to see what cover I got for it. It touches the top of the pump but I don’t think that matters.
