This is not a rigid style roof carrier, it's actually really flexible. Our round-trip was probably 26 hours driving with it. It's super light and easy to install and very easy to remove. I like that you can open it from either side just in case you can't reach from one side. I definitely recommend buying a little tiny step ladder makes it easier to access depending on how high your vehicle is. It's so quiet and you can't even tell that. It's on the roof when you're driving on the highway. Very aerodynamic.
You definitely need to make sure that you have roof rails installed on your vehicle before hand.

Installed it on my RAV 4. Easy installation on the roof crossbars (also from Vevor). Opens from both sides, which is very useful, because I also bought an awning (Vevor :-) ), so I had the choice of the side where I could install it. Comes with all the installation accessories, including straps to secure objects inside the box. Looks and feels sturdy, and looks classy too. I bought the 8 cu ft one, which is the right size for a RAV 4 roof. (Maybe there would be enough space remaining for the 11 cu ft one)
