It´s less firm than expected, but it does what it should do.

I have been searching for a good way to keep my 2026 Harley-Davidson Nightster protected from the elements, since I do not have a garage. I landed on this shelter. First off, the size is great. It's roomy enough to stand inside even with the bike (I'm 5'9"). There is plenty of length to fit the bike. I do sometimes encounter an issue hitting my bar-end mirrors though, and have to either turn the bars or inch the bike over a bit, but not a huge issue. Assembly was pretty straight forward. Since I have an asphalt driveway, I ended up cutting some 3/8" threaded stainless steel rods I picked up from Lowes, drilling 1/2" holes into the driveway, and securing the threaded rods into the holes with construction adhesive, leaving about 3" of threads above the surface. I then secured the shelter using the supplied brackets over the threaded rods and fastened with some washers and 3/8" jam nuts. This seems to hold the base down great. I waited to write this review as I wanted to see how it held up, and I do have a few negatives to report. First, the lock provided is useless. Understand this isn't meant to be a security solution. A lock is only going to delay a potential thief, but as others mentioned, even a child can lift up the front hard enough to bend the frame and get into the shelter. Also, having the locking points only on the sides makes it very inconvenient. If you only use one lock (or in my case, I switched out the lock for a large U-bolt just to make sure the shelter stays closed during wind, etc.), there's still the other side that can get pulled up and cause bending and warping. We had a pretty bad storm with strong winds, and since I only had the left side secured with a U-bolt, the shelter is now lopsided and the bottom bars have some bends. The motorcycle storage shelter online purchase was very easy and it was received very quickly. It performs as described. It did not attract condensation (as I initially feared) once I opened the side vents. Suggest using one of those small plastic dehumidifier tubs just in case. I am using the shelter outside on the grass (no choice) and have secured it to the ground with camping pegs. It has not moved a bit even in high winds. Only negative was the provided security padlock. It is the cheapest flimsy padlock I have ever seen - however I believe that the suggested security system would not deter any serious motorcycle thief. Overall, my bike "Norman" loves his shelter and I am happy with it too.
