This is easier to use than the electronic timer model because it will auto-restart if there is a power dropout, or you can run it on a timer. All other features are the same as the other model and cheaper!

Very easy to use. As I do not like the method used by the distiller to stop its operation, I have combined it with a plug timer set to 3h. This stops the distiller from boiling dry and cooking the impurities on to the stainless steel reservoir. It is easier to clean.

I can't recommend this enough. It has performed consistently to distill water for my ge profile nugget ice maker. Since using this i haven't had to clean the ice maker. I still do, but there is no white residue, and this machine has been a great addition to kitchen appliances, one i wouldn't trade or give up. Also, at 1 point I thought there was a defect and emailed Vevor. I got a quick response. I realized it was user error... but good to know the customer service is on point!

I really like this. Over the length of time that I have it it’ll be cheaper to make distilled water versus buy it. Do the only thing I wish it had was an automatic shut off but other than that fantastic.

I got this because I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a distiller I only needed to make water for a steam cleaner. I have made 6 gallons of distilled water so for. It definitely takes time but I can live with that. I am happy with it. The directions they include are terrible. I can live with that as well. For my $79.00 I got a great deal. I would buy it again but I hope I won't have to

I had purchased a distiller (more pricey) with digital lcd display. The distiller didn’t last very long so I returned it (I think it was “dental distiller”. I purchased the indicated distiller with a power button and a little push button to start it. I’ve distilled a few hundred gallons of water. I used the water in appliance and one plants. We have hard water and the distilled doesn’t leave that crusty white film on it (water spots). If you get one, it takes a couple of hours to distill the water. Once it distills the water , the machine won’t immediately be able to distill because it gets hot. Be careful removing the heating element if you remove it when it’s hot, steam inside might burn you. One thing you’ll see is some nasty, crusty crap (in the bottom and sides of the distiller. The junk can be hard to clean but, keep in mind you would’ve been drink this crap. I’m going to try to clean it with a drill with a wire brush attached to it. The calcium clean, which came with it and vinegar I added doesn’t clean it very, you need to put some “elbows grease” when cleaning it.
