This was a "I'll try it and if it doesn't work, not much loss" and it worked like a charm. I will not claim to be an HVAC tech, but for installing pre-charged mini-splits this was great. All the connectors worked fine and there were no leaks. The vacuum pump is slow, but at 10% of the cost of a professional quality pump, it is worth waiting as the volume of the mini-split is so small that it really did not make a huge difference in time. The only thing that I added was a vacuum gauge to read in microns instead of just timing the vacuum cycle. I also used an existing argon setup for pressure testing, but could have just vacuumed down the system to check for leaks, (the argon was faster and felt more secure by making sure that the system could handle a couple hundred psi. before opening the charging valves on the unit.) This was a very good purchase.

Worked great for first and second time installing senville heat pumps. as these are preloaded you are only vacuuming the linesets and watching for the vacuum to hold. take your time to learn the procedure and use nylog. you may need an adapter depending on your refrigerant fitting and if it comes with your heat pump or not. saved thousands diy vs pro and the units from senville are top notch.

Good product for a diy person the quality is good along with the price of the product. I am very pleased with the product.

Worked perfectly! I vacuumed the Freon line down after relocating my liquid line for my addition. Also the gauges worked great for pressure testing the line after silver soldering back together.

I installed a mini split in my home and this works great for clearing the lines or adding freeon if needed and now I’m about to use it on my truck to pull any debris out of line and charge it.
