Had to weld a extra plate on to make it fit on a 8 lug 6.5" wheel. Didn't want it to fall off with just two lug holes. By the time I got done I had 4 holes with bolts though.

The carrier is well made, easy to assemble and works well.
Just 2 things wrong: rather than supplying bolts to bolt the tyre to the carrier, provide an option such as 2 or three sizes of proper wheel studs, so that wheel nuts will fit.
Second issue I have found: In my case I was hoping for the tyre tp sit higher after being bolter to the rear bumper bar of my caravan.
Other than those 2 things its a solid item
