Package was in good order when it was delivered. The winch looks well built and sturdy. It looks very similar to the Maasdam rope puller. So the breaking strenght might be somewhat over one metric Ton. I will not test that. The “standard” 30 meters of rope are twice as much as “the competition” and the set is indeed half the price in comparison. When combined with a snatch block the pulling power will be almost twice as much and for many jobs 14 meters of “working lenght” are certainly sufficient. So this thing can be more versatile than advertised.
