Great lil slicer that doesn't take up a ton of room to store. Works great, and is easy to clean. We purchased it to mainly slice chicken breast to dehydrate for dog treats. Slightly freezing the meats you are planning on slicing helps tremendously. Would definitely recommend this slicer for home use !!

I bought this slicer solely to use when cutting meat to make jerky. It slices really well. My only complaint is the piece of the unit that slides. It is plastic, and you want to keep a little pressure against the blade while slicing. To much pressure, and you get a thicker slice because the plastic flexes. To little pressure, and the slice is much thinner than the rest. I’d gladly pay another $20 if the unit has a metal slide fixing this issue. Other than that, I have no complaints.

I bought this last December but just used it for the first time, today. It’s a decent little machine. The blade kinda wobbles but it sliced 8lbs of a pork loin roll with no problem. It was inexpensive and I got what I paid for. If you’re looking for something heavy duty…this ain’t it. It’s basically lightweight plastic with a lightweight blade…but it got the job done. It’s really simple to use right out of the box.

Metal body, but plastic parts allow the blade to push back when you are slicing. When slicing room temperature or cold raw meat, the blade chews it and makes it impossible to get accurate cuts. Now, having said that, it cuts partially frozen meats like a boss. And slices cheese well, too.

Easy to use and clean after each use, slices thin for lunch meat on sandwiches.

This thing is a beast for the price. I use it weekly to slice 10-15lbs of cheese (mozzarella and aged Gouda) and it eats it up. The thickness dial does have some play in it, so I have to hold the dial in the optimal position while slicing but for the price who can complain?

Used once, and the slicer fails to maintain desired thickness. You must hold the thickness adjustment dial in position the entire time while slicing to maintain desired thickness.
