This is a great gazebo but I did think the roof was pop up too but it had poles. I was a bit disappointed with that but still easy to put up.
The anchor ropes come from the middle so you have to disconnect them if you want to roll the sides up. I purchased double ended closing hooks and I can just clip them on and off which makes it much easier. It would be nice if they came with them though. We do enjoy sitting in it and it's a pretty easy set up.

Once up is very spacious and protective from the elements. Quality is good. Very challenging to put up by one person, almost impossible if windy. Easy to pull down.

easy to set up, works exactly like it says with keeping the bugs out. works great. also works great at keeping the wind out too. even with all mesh sides and top without the covers on there is absolutely no air flow inside of tent. it does not allow the breeze to blow through. its a virtual sauna inside the tent. i even put a hanging ceiling fan and a stand alone fan and all it did was circulate the hot air inside the tent. Great for keeping the bugs out, downside is it keeps everything out.
