I've used a few plasma cutters over the years, and this one has been a pleasant surprise. It has plenty of power for a home shop while remaining simple enough that anyone with a little experience can get up and running quickly. The non-touch pilot arc is one of the best features. Being able to start the arc without contacting the metal makes cutting rusty or painted material much easier and helps extend the life of the consumables. It also produces cleaner starts and smoother cuts. I mainly used it on mild steel, and the cuts were clean with very little cleanup afterward. The arc remained stable throughout the cut, and the machine had no trouble working through the material I threw at it. The digital display is bright and easy to read, making adjustments quick without having to guess at the settings. I also like the dual-voltage capability since it gives you the flexibility to use 110V when needed or take advantage of the extra cutting performance with 220V. Build quality feels solid, and everything has worked exactly as expected. The torch is comfortable to hold, and the controls are straightforward without being overly complicated. Dit is mijn eerste plasmasnijder en ben hier wanden tussen zeecontainers aan het verwijderen. Het steuntje om 1.5mm afstand te houden van de plaat heb ik er af genomen en gebruik de tips rechtstreeks tegen de wand. makkelijk in te stellen en doet zijn werk. drukleiding en vochtfilter ga ik mettertijd vervangen maar is zeker functioneel met de standaard bijgeleverde

Werk prima, maar op maximum vermogen op 220v moet je zien dat je een deftige aansluiting hebt. Dun materiaal gaat prima.

This is a decent little plasma for the price. I have used it a few times on some 1/8" SS & Aluminum. It will cut 1/4" carbon steel fairly well but, it's definitely not a heavy duty machine but, if you are just cutting thin metal it will get the job done. Not sure how well it will hold up over time.
