Air hose reel with hose seems to be holding up in my busy shop. Not bad for the price. Comparable to a harbor freight model.

Very easy to mount. Heavy construction, very good quality hose. Mounted from the cieling of my shop for verstillity and ease of access.

Works as intended. Mounting could be better with a larger plate to allow easier access when bolting to wall.

Every thing was Good until i looked at the end of the hose pass the adjustable hose stop, where the hose is beat up from something pinching it. it doesn't leak but never should have shiped that way. just looks not right,and will be the first place that it does leak. and it came from the factory that way because the box that it shipped in showed no sign of damage. and i should add a photo but i don't know how. HD

This works as well as other retractable hose reels. The distance between the hold points is sometimes a pain but overall it is a good addition to my shop.

The only reason I took a star away is first impression of the quality of the air hose. The rest of this unit seems to be decent. I like the two piece mounting, easier by myself

construction is solid and pivoting mount is nice. It came with hardware to mount in a hollow CMU wall (I assume) but no hardware for stud mounting, or undershelf mount as I did. I had some bolts and nuts so not a problem, but I imagine a lot of purchasers would have to go to the hardware store to mount--other options would have been nice. I mounted it with the pivot under a shelf. If there is any lateral load on the reel then the ratcheting mechanism is no longer a ratcheting mechanism. It just pulls the hose back in. They depict it mounted in this orientation in photos and call it a ceiling mount in it's description, but the pawls only engage intermittently even when pulling straight down. It's a minor inconvenience. I just pull out the length I'll need and then move. I may reconfigure and wall mount if it annoys me enough. The hose is plenty long, though I can see it bulging when initially pressurized. Same with the pigtail length. I have some goodyear hoses that I definitely do NOT see bulging on, so the hose may not last long. My system pressure is at 105 psi, well within the range. But we all know that we are not getting top quality heavy duty equipment when we buy from Vevor. What we are getting is full features for a fraction of the price. Perfect for DIY use and maybe even some light commercial use. A new high quality hose IF this one fails would still make this hose reel a great value.

In the course of organizing my garage, the air hose went from a rack on the wall to the floor to make room for the shelving. So I bought this reel and hung it from the rafters and connected the air hose to it. I've only had it a couple months so not sure how long it will last, but if I don't abuse it, should make it many years. My only gripe is if you let it retract too fast the hose stacks up on one side and jams against the top frame. So, I take a few extra seconds to make sure the hose layers as it should. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the reel and hose and it comes with just about everything you need to install it. I would definitely buy it again.

The swivel part of the mount is not that strong it does not look durable enough to last along time.. but the hose itself is good and I love it..

Seems like a solid unit for a decent price. Just be aware that the threads are NPT - you can kinda get away with attaching BSP fittings with enough teflon, but Bunnings sell NPT to BSP adaptors that make for a much nicer fit.
