I built my own bed using the kit, so I had to overcome a few problems that I wouldn't have encountered with the original bed described in the manual. Nevertheless, the kit is easy to install as long as you put some thought into it. If you assemble it as explained in the manual, you shouldn't have any problems. The only issues are the poor translation and the lack of metric measurements for some parts. The kit could be improved by providing additional information on the angles and circumferences of the oscillating components. The gas springs are much stronger than I thought, so I'd recommend bearing that in mind if you want to build your own construction. I should also mention the support team, who supplied me with additional parts without question when mine were broken. All in all, it's a great kit, and the support is excellent — I would definitely buy it again!

Just finished building a queen horizontal Murphy bed! It used about 7 sheets of plywood including waste. The instructions are totally bananas but the hardware works as it should! Still need to attach some handles to the front to make pull down easier- the kit doesn’t include any. Some more support in the middle when the bed is pulled down would be ideal too- perhaps the handles could double as legs or we can just throw some wooden blocks under there when it’s down !

I had an old dream, to build an own Murphy bed. This hardware kit was a good choise for it. With a kit, I got a good plan , and discription for the building. I had to transfere some added data for my matress size, and for avialable materials, but it works fine! The upshot is great, It looks strong and long standing!

Всё отлично. В достаточной степени хорошее качество выполнения. Инструкция, возможно, пригодится. Но, если хотите смонтировать дно кровати за подлицо со шкафом в котором она прячется, то шаблон не правильный. Т.е. сейчас, согласно шаблону, кровать в закрытом положении утоплена на ~2 см вглубь шкафа. Учитывайте этот момент!!! Если говорить о ширине, то если Вы хотите построить шкаф с действительно минимальными зазорами то считайте по 30 мм на сторону. Т.е. кровать должна быть на 60 мм меньше шкафа по ширине. Если же говорить о высоте, то согласно шаблону сейчас установлен действительно минимальный зазор снизу. Сверху не знаю, потому что строил выше.

Finally after years of wanting to build one of these beds but didnt want to spend the $300 on a kit. This kit if phenomenal. Very easy to use and the instructions are super easy to understand. The only thing i did different was use .75” plywood all around.

Good quality for this price!

I was looking for a kit to build nu own Murphy bed since the options for complete beds where a bit too expensive for me and weren't able to fit my specifik dimensions. When purchasing the kit you get a great digital folder on the materials for a queen size bed. However once the kit is delivered it also includes instruktions for other bedsizes such as European sizes which was what I was looking for. The springs included where very strong so it is important toto follow the material instructions to get the correct weight on the bed. I opted to add a bit more weight as to be able to change the mattress without the bed closing ! All in all this was exactly what o was looking for and I am now the very proud owner of a self-built Murphy bed.

Un kit muy bueno. Manual claro. Atención excelente . Otra cosa ha sido la entrega. La empresa logística es impresentable. Si compro algo mas jamás consentiré que me lo envíen con ella

This kit is good price and good value. It made a nice bed.
