Extractor works great and is priced very affordably. Hose connections are a little wobbly but not unusably so. Three speeds, but a variable speed control would be better offering a lower setting. Lowest setting still a bit too aggressive for certain applications. Buy a less powerful unit if that can be an issue. Really though, it’s a great product and a bargain for the price!

Connected to an indoor laser cutter for wooden projects. Cuts most of the fumes. Workshop is a more pleasant place to be.

I ordered the Vevor solder fume extractor 150 on line, it arrived in 3 days and has been in use for several weeks as I have completed several small projects in stained glass. We had just moved to a new home and my stained glass studio is in the basement without easy ventilation when I am soldering. The Vevor products were highly recommended by Jeremy of www.platinumsupply.com in Sherwood Park, Alberta and I have been very pleased with the efficiency of the Vevor fume extractor. 150... more powerful than I need but it is fairly quiet with its 3 speed levels, well built, can sit on my work bench or floor and has two extractor hoses that can be used to remove the fumes. For stained glass artists working in a confined space I would highly recommend this unit for your studio space as an investment in your health and your families health.

First off, I am very happy with this purchase and would buy it again, despite a few failings. It is used for fume extraction and does a fine job of it. It is louder than the adjacent Quattro Solderpure, and has three distinct speeds vs the rheostat speed control of the Quattro. Because it’s loud, I needed close access to the switch to quiet while not in use so had to squeeze it into a location between work tables. The switch is close to the floor so less convenient than the foot pedal switch of the Quattro. The segments of the “arms” are less durable and cracked under my heavy pressure to get the hoods in a good position. Once I recognized my mistake, I was able to repair with strips of gorilla tape while retaining segmental flexibility. The arms attach ti the body of the machine with a shallow-lipped opening that is only compatible with accompanying flexible arms. It is not compatible with any type of dryer vent clamp. Vevor does not carry replacement flexible arms.

Using lasers on various material, causes lots of not very nice fumes. The answer, the Vevor Fume Extractor, with two inlets. Even using it open air, it drags those fumes away, through a filter and away from my lungs. I have a dedicated fume hood, which will connect to this unit and make it even safer, while I am engraving or cutting some materials. A definite need for removing any hazardous fumes for the hobbies, but do check the filters suit your proposed needs.

I use it for soldering leaded glass panels. I would make three changes to the current machine. First, I would move the switch to the top of the sucker box vs. having it a toe level so that I can easily turn it off and on. Second, I would increase the size of the business end shroud if possible. I have to constantly move it around as I solder the panel. Perhaps not possible due to weight and the hose needing to be flexible. Third, I would use a rotary switch vs. a push button coupled with an on/off switch. In the current setup, to cycle it from off to low fan speed, press the button again - medium fan speed, press the button again - high fan speed.

I bought this fume extractor to use while tig and mig welding in my garage. It has a sturdy metal cabinet on casters with easy to access filters and 2 heavy duty flexible exhaust nozzles. I usually operate it on the low power setting which is more than adequate to remove the fumes. It has 2 additional power settings for more extraction. This unit is much quieter than my welding machines and the compact size makes it easy to maneuver around my equipment. This provides a safer alternative to using fans and won't blow away the shielding gases.

This works great for helping remove smoke when I’m welding. It’s not as powerful as a $2,000 level unit - but for me it removes enough smoke that makes a huge difference in cleaning up the air so my nose is clear after welding. Highly recommend it for those who want significant improvement without large expense. The item comes with several replacement filters - a very good deal.
