Striped a garbage can full of 4/0,3/0,2/0 and # 10 and #12 in no time.
When I in-packed it I found the drill adapter that I didn’t know came with it. Well worth the money .

I retired from the electrical trade 2 years ago and my garage and truck had a lot of surplus copper wiring on spools. Tried to sell them to local area contractors for a year; to no avail. So I looked into a way to strip the insulation off of common THHN #12 and #10 wire, and found this handy little tool. It's a little slower than ideal; but even using a drill motor attachment you have to stop and disincline the winding inclination so it doesn't fall all your floor surface. So I just hand crank a 100 feet or so a day when I have time; and it works nicely. The only negative comment I would say about it is that it takes several adjustments to cutting blade wheel to find that sweet spot where it's not too deep; or not to shallow to do a clean strip. It would be nice to have a sizing hole for #6, #8awg, #10 and #12, but this works pretty good for the price! Just wear leather gloves when stripping stranded copper wire, or you'll sometimes get tiny little strands of copper stuck in your hand's skin!

Great product, well constructed, I’ve processed thousands of feet of electrical wire of various gauges with relative ease. The machine is almost self explanatory and I mounted it on its own station stand. I prefer using the hand crank, but it does operate with a power drill as well. If you benefit from stripping wire, this is an excellent tool to have as an option.
