Poles are not sturdy for holding the canvas when they are out.It gives in the middle and the brackets on the end are to light. Also when you slide the cavas in the grooves on the ends are to sharp that stops you from feeding the canvas. I remodified the brackets and use a heavier conduit pipe which does not bend when it rains.

I dont know if the issue is because of the size or its just underbuilt. It sags badly in the middle, the support pipe on the end bows under its own weight, so does the roller tube. The side support arms need to be length adjustable, they are to short when the awning is fully extended.

Instructions are incredibly poor and skip some installation steps. I have so far spent over 12 hours building this and I am nearly done. To put into perspective how frustrating it is to build this awning, I have successfully built ikea stuff, installed windows/siding/roofing, built kids playgrounds, done major repairs on cars, and I do computer programming for my job. All of these things are easier and less frustrating than this awning.

The Tella arrived with two large holes that will surely only last me this summer session. I have contacted them and still haven't received an answer to my problem.

Fell apart on the 3-d day.

Never received the product, it was delivered to a different address. Refused to give me credit or send me the one I paid for. Bad company. I only have a picture of an apartment where FedEx delivered to. I live in a house.

Die Markise ist keine 8 fuß lang wie angegeben. Ich habe eine Breite von 2.476m und angegeben ist die Markise mit 8 Fuß. 8ft=243.84m. Jetzt stehe ich da. Noch dazu kann die Markise nur von der Wand montiert werden und nicht von der Decke. Die Gelenkarme kamen zusätzlich noch mit optischen Beschädigungen an.

This was by far one of the worst experiences. I ordered a retractable awning. What I received was a cutting plotter. We didn't open the box right away because my husband wasn't ready to install it. Once we did open it and noticed it was not an awning, I immediately contacted customer support. I had to jump thru many hoops; taking precise pictures, uploading them, etc... After several email communications, it was confirmed, I indeed, had the wrong item. Customer service insisted I take it down to FedEx. This thing was extremely heavy and the box was long. Hence, I didn't immediately recognize it wasn't an awning. I was told I would not be credited if it wasn't delivered to FedEx. Much to our inconvenience and chagrin, we took it to FedEx. I wasn't offered a discount, a sincere apology, any gratitude, nothing. This is a thankless company that I will not be doing business with anymore. Someone else probably received my retractable awning because I'm sure the boxes were very similar. I wonder how they faired? No matter, their customer service is lacking on every level.
