Broken tightening nuts, and Vevor not sorting it out.

Broken tightening nuts, and Vevor not sorting it out. 1
I ordered this kayak holder, and it looked fine, but the nuts that hold the mount on the roof bars were not. Four out of eight were cracked/split. I did not mount it on the car because I was worried that they might totally break and my kayak would drop off the car. I contacted Vevor and talked with different customer service representatives for over two weeks, but did not get it sorted out. I was making a video about mounting it on my van and testing it out for my YouTube channel. I am thinking of sending it back.
