This pole is easy to assemble and add pieces to extend to higher branches. It is pretty light considering how long it is. The only reason I give it a 4star is because at its full length with the blade in the end, there is quite a bit of bow in it. That does make cutting a thicker branch a decent workout. The harder you press on the pole to get the blade teeth to bite into the branch, the more bend in the pole.

The unit did what I needed it to do…cut a 2-1/2” diameter branch 25 ft up so I did not have to use a ladder, rent a lift, or hire a trimmer. I used all but one section. Pole flexed and creaked a lot and I thought it would break. But it held together. The flex made sawing take quite a while but the saw teeth were sharp and had stops at both ends, so it worked. Lot of effort. Good for one or 2 branches at a time that high up. Skeptical how many times I can raise it before cracking.

Erg makkelijk in het gebruik, direct uitgeprobeerd. De dode takken uit een boom gezaagd. Het zagen valt niet mee, doordat de stok behoorlijk flexibel is, het nippen van takken op hoogte gaat daarentegen veel beter.

If you need a longer pole saw, this works well. Put together in sections, you don't have to add any more length than is needed for the task at hand. It is a bit flexible at full length and requires some finesse to get going. If it were stiffer though, I'm sure the added weight would make it unusable for most people or too expensive if they used a lighter and stronger material. I recommend it.

I have used this pole saw several times, and it has worked well. It is difficult to use with all of the pole sections connected. Very heavy. Other than that, a good tool.

Pros: Great design. Good reach. Light weight. Love the dual hooks on the end. Really helps pushing, pulling, and keeping the blade from coming out of the cut. Cons: Fiberglass seceptible to damage around the latches. No replacement blades available for purchase. They use spreader pins to hold the poles together that work their way out. Keep a hammer handy and buy the 1 year damage guarantee.
