Works as expected Starts very easily on first pull. Made 9 holes with ease so far but was fairly soft ground, haven't tried in clay

You bury a pole deep and wide with this auger, runs great and plenty of power.

This is a great auger .I would buy again . I reccomended a vevor auger. But look at what size you need and buy the auger that comes with that size . Shop vevor the brand is very nice

So I had a fence fall over and needed to dig 18 holes in my yard through decorative stone( 1.5 to 2 inch diameter stones) and this thing made quick effort of it. It did however have some issues at tree roots but I grabbed a burke bar and took care of those( F those things were still tough). But this auger fired right up every time and made quick work of the holes.

Great price, arrived early, easy to assemble, easy to use. Cut through Alabama red clay without any problem but doesn't like big roots. The only problem I had was with the first time I cranked it the compression got the better of my arthritis, but I'm seventy and younger arms and backs shouldn't have a problem. If you do, what I did was to tie it off to the porch rail for leverage. After it cranked the first time even I could start it easy. I do wish that they made a tiller that that the motor could mount to.
