I assembled the 18L Fruit Wine press and I am impressed with the quality. It is made of heavy iron and steel parts and is built to last. I will not be using it until September when the apples are ripe and will give it a good work out. I will update the review then.

The main purpose of the crusher was to crush Indian fig opuntia leaves. It's an easy task when the leaf has just been cut. It's more difficult when the leaf is two years old and already has a lot of fiber. Even in the latter case, the cutting system proved effective. I can't say the same about the funnel. The welds are very fragile, and it separated into its elements. I admit that it wasn't necessary for the leaves. Why do I want to crush agave leaves? To obtain green matter. Je l'ai acheté pour utiliser ses barils avec une petite presse hydraulique d'atelier de 10 tonnes pour les roulements. Il s'adapte parfaitement. 'ai également ajouté un disque de 7/8" d'épaisseur (une entretoise de roue de voiture en acier inoxydable trouvée sur Marketplace) pour supporter la pression (6 tonnes maximum jusqu'à présent). Tout fonctionne à merveille. Je peux y mettre quatre ananas coupés en morceaux et en quelques minutes, j'obtiens près de trois litres de jus.

Made a kon-tiki kiln and am converting firewood scraps, bark and rotten lumber into barbecue charcoal and bio-char to mix with litter in laying house. It kills odor and absorbs nutrients from the litter and only releases nutrients when a plant root siphons them out. Found a video of a crusher powered by a post hole digger (which Vevor also sells) on youtube. Just type in "powering apple crusher to make bio-char" and is should pop up. This crusher looks to be able to do the job easily.
