I would recommend this system it's a bit of work cleaning and filling the buckets a sump pump works really well for draining the water and a fill hose would be easier I have to carry all my water upstairs. Now I can't upload photos from my phone because the camera created files larger than they can receive.

Received the kit quickly and in good condition. Assembly was easy except that the rubber grommets are a tiny bit too small to fit the air hose for the air stone. I struggled to get the hose through them and eventually gave up, cutting the hose and pushing it in on both sides. This works but is fragile. Everything else is working great. I'm happy with the purchase.

The fifth bucket is almost useless. What are does not circulate out of the reservoir bucket into the others without a pump. I'm actually considering buying a net pot and using that for another plant I did have a problem with a leaking valve that was replaced quickly within a week. Things happen it's not a big deal

I searched high and low, priced out individual components to find the best deal, and nothing came close to this for the price. The components work, everything fits and, so far, there are no leaks.

This could have come with more information about DWC. Everything fit together without leaks. I did buy a better air pump.

Totally worth the price. Honestly 8x 5-gallon buckets costs this much anymore. But the lids are solid, the valves are good, and the extra tubing is nice. Oh and the water-level tubes are a nice touch but unnecessary. Now the bad: everything else is cheap. The air stones are terrible, the pump isn't rated for pushing 8 lines (you will definitely have to by a new pump or 2), the directions are a joke, and support is shoddy. But would buy it again just for the good components alone. Worth every penny.

Easy to setup and use, only complaint is the air pump, which is quite noisy. Bought an ultra-quiet one from Amazon for around $50 so still ended up with a quality system.

it is a hybrid DWC not a real RDWC as said. Good item if your looking for a top tier DWC system but if you're looking for a real RDWC system this is not the right kit. It needs to be renamed to DWC self watering system as you only need to fill the reservoir then the water evens out in each bucket but there isn't a continuous movement of water besides the air stone pumping the oxygen in each bucket. 1 star at features because it describes itself as RDWC but is really DWC. everything else is solid . Price for RDWC is SUPERIOR unfortunately this isn't RDWC so that's why it got a 2star for price. you think your buying RDWC for 135 but you're not. its DWC so 2 stars for that. now the quality is solid. no leaks or anything. very solid setup. Easy to use 5stars. i read instructions and followed the map pretty easy. setup time is less than a hour if you have the heating gun and scissors. its not bad just misrepresenting in my eyes.
