Bought this to replace a name-brand core drilling machine that burned up. Haven't used it yet, but got it all set up and tested to make sure the motor turned. The machine is well-built and easily matches the look and feel of a much more expensive model/brand. Be prepared for terrible packaging. I received the box and fully expected many things to be broken/bent/missing from the look of it. There was hardly any internal support for such a heavy item, and several areas had been completely punched through the cardboard from things moving around inside. Fortunately, nothing was missing or bent, and the rub damage was tolerable, but fair warning. I plan to update again after the machine has been used.

J'ai pu faire un trou de 107mm dans un mur de 60cm en pierre et silex très facilement, une fois que la machine bien entendu est bien fixée au mur. La 1ère fois c'est un peu difficile mais ensuite on sait comment ça marche et c'est assez rapide. Par contre la profondeur de perçage n'est pas de 60cm mais plutôt 40cm, voire 35cm (j'ai donc percé des deux côtés pour atteindre les 60cm). Néanmoins très content de mon achat .

Très bonne carotteuse, elle répond parfaitement au besoin d'un utilisateur occasionnel comme moi, voir même pour un pro à qui je l'ai déjà confiée et qui a été bluffé de la capacité de cette machine pour le prix ! J'ai effectué un carottage de 200mm dans un mur de brique de 38 cm en brique entrecoupé avec une coulisse de 6-8 cm, je n'ai pas rencontré le moindre problème. J'ai également fait le même type de carottage dans un mur béton de +/- 20cm, avec une excellente cloche avec une bonne couronne au diamant on passe à travers sans problème. En comparaison avec le matos pro valant minimum 15 - 20 fois le prix de cette carotteuse, y a pas photo. La location revient presque au même prix, au final autant l'acheter et avoir une bonne machine de plus avec soi... Réellement une excellente petite machine !

There are a lot of positive things to say about this product and a couple of negatives also. The first positives are the build quality and the price. It's rmade using really substantial metall components and durable plastics throughout. On first impressions alone it gives the appearance of a tool costing multiples of its actual price. The drill bit supplied did a good job of cutting through the 600mm thick stone wall of my house. The negative points are that it comes with a European plug rather than a 3 pin UK/Ireland style plug. This meant I had to buy an adapter. Also, at the 3200 watts of power output it's very close to the limit of the 13 amp fuses on my plugs and adapters and it did blow a few of them as I was using it. This appears to happen when the drill encounters a particularly tough piece of wall, or when it partially binds in the wall. The other negative to note is that during use the drill will vibrate and all screwed on components will quickly come loose and fall off. This happened to the rotary handle and the cylindrical threaded on bit at the end of the running rail. Luckily I found the bits on the ground and reinstalled them using a threadlock adhesive. In summary, it's a good product and is certainly worth the price being charged.
