Quel gain de temps pour amender sur une pelouse ! Par contre je ne trouve pas l'ouverture pratique, des gonds auraient facilité les chose, à chaque ouverture, cela a tendance à bloquer. sinon rien à dire, c'est du bon produit

I purchased the heavier duty of the 2 similar models offered (the one with wider useable mesh area and without the triangular braces near the bottom of the handle) and I’m glad I did. This spreader is very sturdily built, simple to assemble, easy to operate, with large enough holes in the wire mesh for most spreadable materials. It deposits an even layer on the lawn, but you want to move fast if using very fine materials because those will flow quickly. I found it more efficient to fill 5-gallon buckets with my soil/compost mix and then pour the buckets into the opening (3 buckets will fill it) rather than trying to fill it one shovel load at a time. Sometimes I encountered difficulty getting the lid to close without bending the 2 simple hinges (z-shaped bent steel), but with a bit of jiggling the lid, I got it in proper position to close smoothly. The latches closed very securely and their position on the side prevents rolling over them during operation.

Works awesome for spreading peat moss over grass seed. Peat moss must be dry though and no chunks so I typically have to spread a bag out on garage floor and stir it around and spread out then when dry I stomp on to break up to a size that passes through screen and works great.
