This thing was a lifesaver while overseeding my yard and needing to put down some top dressing. Also allows you to filter out the mulch that a lot of these companies(Scotts) use as filler in their bags of topsoil. for the price you really cant beat it.

I haven't tried it with compost yet, but it's perfect for tumbling live oysters. I raise oysters at my pier and need to periodically remove them from the water and tumble them to remove the sharp edges and stimulate the growth of a deep cup. This spreader works perfect for that.

Works unbelievably well, using it to add black dirt to my existing lawn and it lets out enough to coat the ground although not to much to bury the grass plus keeps lumps, rocks and debris inside the spreader to be disposed of

I used this spreader to top dress and overseed my lawn, and it made the job dramatically easier. It spread the soil evenly and as a bonus, kept larger chunks of wood and debris from my soil mix contained in the drum instead of ending up on the lawn. I saw some reviews mentioning issues with the latch coming loose or not staying locked, but I didn't experience that at all. The drum stayed securely closed throughout the project. Assembly took about an hour, but it was straightforward and easy enough. Overall, this was one of the best lawn care purchases I've made and saved a huge amount of time and effort compared to spreading soil by hand.

Funziona benissimo, mi sono trovato a risparmiare tempo e dolori di schiena. Ottimo affare

Good product and price.

Great product it works as it should

Works well at applying a very even 1/2" +/- layer of top soil to your yard. It does come with a few cons. Filling it with top soil can be a bit of a pain. Bagged soil is easy. Shoveling bulk soil from a wheelbarrow is a bit of a pain. I found that it was much quicker to fill (2) 5 gallon buckets and use them to load in soil. You are going to have left over material in the drum that is too large to fit through the grates. The only way to unload this chaff is by hand.
