We always seem to need more ice than our home fridge can support. We camp a lot and go on a lot of picnics and we seem to deplete the ice bin too easily. This VEVOR Commercial Ice Maker has been a lifesaver. While it does say "commercial" it is not the huge ice machine you see at hotels. It is a smaller version that is perfect for home use. We actually placed ours in the laundry room with a reverse osmosis system so the ice is pure and ready to use. We eventually plan to put it in a home bar we are building, but wanted to begin using it now. The ice machine is fully insulated so it can be placed alone under a counter or within a cabinet, depending on your usage. One thing to note is that you need a water line and a floor drain to use this ice maker. We did not have a floor drain so we had to install a condensate drain pump under the ice maker and had to put the ice maker on a stand. It is great because the ice is easy to get to and this ice maker makes a lot of ice and makes it a lot faster than our fridge does. We absolutely LOVE this ice maker! We never ever run out of ice now. We are thinking about putting a cold plunge out back now that we have this awesome ice maker. It will take the entire amount of ice that this machine can store at a time, but this ice maker will have the ice replenished within hours, so I won't mind using all the ice at once. Plus we only plan on using the ice for an ice bath a couple times a week. It is so awesome to have an ice maker in the house instead of having to go to the store and carry all the ice bags needed home every time. We are absolutely thrilled. The ice maker has several different thicknesses of ice and while it does, it just makes the most sense for us to just have it set at the thickest setting. That works the best for us, but it is nice to know that there is an adjustment that can be made if we ever have a different use for the ice. Great ice maker. Pumps out about a gallon bag of ice per hour. Great addition to filling coolers up. If it had a refrigerated ice storage area it would get a 5 for sure. Very happy with the purchase!

I’ve only used it 2 days and it works great , It was easy to set up and start making ice. We use a lot of ice while fishing and boating at the lake, this is a great addition and would recommend this to others looking to purchase a ice maker. As of now I would purchase this product again.
