I installed this in my garage; I have a wash sink already, so I just put this on a pedestal and ran the drain into the sink. I have been using it to make ice starting the day before my fishing trips, and I put the filled bins into a bag in my freezer that sits next to it in the garage. If I start the morning before, I will have about a hundred pounds of ice (with me emptying the ice maker several times) by the next morning, ready to add to a couple 150 quart coolers for offshore trips. So far it has been running trouble free.

Had it for two days now works awesome made 30 pounds ice and three hours. It’s nice to have the option to go with bottled water or faucet water. You definitely have to have the drain going into a drain great icemaker though great price I would definitely buy again.
