This is quite a sturdy unit and works as described but there's a big gotcha. It requires two people to extend it. It's quite heavy (a good thing) and there is so much friction between the sliding aluminium planks that it effectively comes to a hard stop. I could only get the unit to extend by 30cm maximum! No matter which way I held it or angle I put it in, that's all I could pull out even after I oiled the joints (which gave me a little bit more). I destroyed one of the straps by pulling that in the effort to pull the plank section. The straps are basically lightweight rubbish actually, if the plank slipped off the ladder rung, it would rip straight off due to the weight. Needs to be leather. I wrote to Vevor with this issue and they passed it onto the supplier. The response was "this is a two person item" (I got the long one, not the short one). This is not written anywhere on the product page or in the received instructions. So be aware of it. Otherwise it's a good piece. If you are going to try solo, the method is to find a post or stake in the ground, hook one end over it and pull like hell to extend it to the desired length. The Vevor support process was good and quite satisfactory service.

Top Surface is Slick as Sh!t. No grip. would not feel safe if used in a wet, snowy, or in an environment with a lot of dust that would make the smooth surface even worse. Also the "Slide" out part to elongate the plank is very hard to operate.

The ladder plank is a good product. However you failed to send the wing nut bolts and the plank stop bolt and nut. I emailed you on your site when I got the ladder plank. Your site said they would fix that issue have not heard anything since. I had to take the ladder plank down to ace hardware to get three bolts to fit the M8-40 stop bolt and then get two M8 bolts for telescoping stops. Your direction said M12 bolts that was wrong it’s a M8 bolt thread.

This 100% needs grooves. Any dust, overspray or whatever and it becomes a slippery nightmare. I use it and it works but you have to be so so careful.

I don't recommend, the material is very cheap not safe for heights, without using it was damaged. Doesn't take the weight it says.

After we settled on a refund after 20 plus emails Vevor finally did a refund for $629 - VERY disappointed with that process! We was on a government job and OSHA would have fined us if we used them as they came in damaged. After settlement I had my guys cut up and destroy due to liability
