Bought this box to use 4 weeks out of the year. As you can see in the picture the lid sprung after the first week. It fills with dust daily now. Added foam to fill the gaps but keeps getting worse. Will have to fabricate my own latches if I want to use it again next year. Another issue was the pin for the latch bends under regular use. Nothing gets slammed in it or anything, just sometimes you open the box and the pin is bent and the lid won't latch. You can bend the pin straight and it will be fine for a little while. Overall very poorly made box. Can't think of a use where this would be good. Maybe if you only needed to open it once a year. There's a reason the good ones are so much more expensive.

I’ve bought many Vevor items in the past and they were all of good quality. This one is not. The aluminum is too thin and it makes the tool box a bit fragile. The lock mechanism wasn’t welded in the right place preventing the lid from staying close. I had to make a bracket to allow the lid to close and stay there.

Ordered 2 of these. One was heavily damaged in shipping. I immediately took pics and asked for it to be replaced or refunded. They sent back a email with pics of taking a hammer to beat out damage. The problem with that is the damage is in a corner, tore the metal and dented it in a crease as well as knocked off black paint. I paid for brand new not damaged goods. I have not had this issue before but buyer beware they do NOT stand behind shipping damage. You are just better off to buy in person somewhere else to avoid this issue.

Heavy duty? That's a laugh! This tool case is about as sturdy as aluminum can. When the hasp is raised upward, the lock can be rotated with the key. When the hasp is downward over the lock, the lock cannot be rotated with the key, because it is blocked by the hasp! The hasp does not sit close enough to the base of the lock to clear the lock as it is rotated, rendering the lock useless! Don't waste your money, it has more value as scrap aluminum than it does as a functional tool box!

I recently purchased this tool box to store a jack, impact, and other basic tools needed in case of a flat tire of other roadside emergencies. When coming home from vacation I got a flat on my boat trailer and just trying to get my jack out of the tool box, it bent up the front of the tool box enough to where the lid would not close. After several attempts to close it, just by me pushing down on the center of the lid caused it to bend. Now I have to use a 2x4 wedged underneath the truck bed railing just to keep it closed so I can close my bed cover. Ive purchased several items from vevor and have no complaints other than how flimsy it is from the thin gauge metal that this tool box is made from.
