The VEVOR 12U Open Frame Server Rack, is a nice equipment rack, and seemingly serves its purpose. Putting the rack together, on the other hand, may also seem a bit of a challenge to some who are not so mechanically inclined. The directions are not all that informative - thankfully there are a few illustrations which give guidance to complete the assembly. The bulk package of screws which are necessary to construct the rack, are self-tapping, and are extremely difficult to turn with a screwdriver by hand - but once seated, they secure the pieces in place. For the money - and based on your individual needs or use for such equipment racks - this, VEVOR 12U Open Frame Server Rack, is priced to suit most needs of the user - perhaps more so from a studio (in my opinion) setting where the rack would be "stationed," as opposed to be expected to survive the rigors from being moved from state to stage, while on the road.

Everything works great. Went together easy. Now sitting in the server room with 3 Supermicro 36 bay storage servers running on it. The only problem is with the top plate. It only fits with one depth. If you extend it at all, the top won’t fit on it and you will have to make one for it. I actually cut and stained a piece of 1/4” plywood for it.

Easy to assemble and surprisingly sturdy. Although I should have got higher. But I didn't know better.

A little time consuming to put together, the instructions are a little hard to follow but not as bad as most items similar. Once together works as intended and appears to be sturdy

Easy to put together, easy to adjust. Make sure you know your server depth in advanced and measure out the length appropriately. Pay attention to the direction of the adjustable pieces, I got it wrong and had to take it apart. The quality of the top shelf is very poor, not strong enough for heavy items. Also if you make it longer than the shortest length, the top shelf does not span across the entire top (which makes sense or else it would stick out when not fully extended). Overall for the price, I honestly don't have a lot to complain about and it meets my needs! Highly recommend.

Rack doet waarvoor hij gemaakt is MAAR die schroeven die meegeleverd worden zijn een hel !!! Ik raad het echt niet aan deze in elkaar te zetten zonder handschoenen of zelfs zonder boor MET extra sterke schroef bitjes ik heb 5 bitjes kapot geboord dan noodgedwongen met schroevendraaier verder gegaan tot de blaren op men hand stonden zo stroef gaan die schoeven in de rack!! 1 keer en nooit meer koop ik deze

Fast shipping and decent price. Fit was a little lacking though. The bolt holes didn't quite line up and screws went in on an angle so that wasn't ideal. Still a sturdy rack though.

Major complaint is the lack of supplied hardware to actually install anything. They only provide enough hardware for 4 devices or 2 devices if you use both shelves. Over half the unit is useless without the correct hardware. Hardware is cheap to include with the item and they chose not to. Now I have to delay the project more to give someone else money for their mistake.

Missing parts. Sent customer service ticket. They said they will get back to me. And they haven't. Very lazy staff. I want a refund!!!
