The vac pump may be a touch underpowered, or the gauge may be a bit out and not fully calibrated, but it pulls a vacuum and does what it needs to do. I bought this to help remove bubbles from epoxy resin, and it does the job. Overall, this is a good value for the money.

Please note that the lid is not clear like in the photos. It's frosted, which is a shame, I would like to observe my experiments while they react to the vacuum. But for the price you pay, I don't think there are much better deals than this. It's a perfectly good vacuum chamber with a really decent pump. It was easy to fill with the included oil and I expected it to be much louder. Assembling everything was also quite straightforward and everything worked exactly as advertised on the first try.

La tapa no se sella bien y la olla no funciona bien. Debes apretar fuerte para que empiece a vaciar! Toca reclamar el producto.

The gage does not reach 29 inches of mercury. It barely makes it to 25. I believe the issue is the gage as I am able to boil water at low temps and degas silicone fairly well so not a big problem. However, at the time I bought this - 12 reviews all five stars. When I couldn't get it to go to 29, I double checked and found 11 of the reviews were copied from other websites, and other products. Some of the copied reviews did not give the item 5 stars, but they evidently felt it was ok to change that for the customer. I have let them know exactly which reviews were fraudulent, but nothing has been done to correct the issue. When in doubt, copy the review text and paste it into google search with quotes and you will find the exact review elsewhere on the web.

Ich habe die Vakuumkammer gerad e zwei mal benutzt, dann ist sie implodiert. Beim ersten Mal gab es schon risse im Dekcel, beim zweiten Mal wars um diesen geschehen und er ist implodiert. Ich habe vergeblich versucht mit dem Kundencenter Kontakt aufzunehmen und bin stattdessen beim Bot gelandet, welcher mir zugesichtert hat, man melde sich bei mir.... Schade, das Gerät wäre eigentlich super, zudem habe ich ein zu grosses Model gekauft, aber das ist ja 100% mein Fehler. Leider kann ich keine Fotos hochladen.

I messaged support to get some help with my vacuum pump not pulling enough. I sent them videos and they responded with a copy of the product manual I already had. After that, radio silence. Their customer service is trash and this is the second thing I have purchased that came not working.
