This motor was a direct replacement for my Hayward Superpump 700 1HP motor that stopped working. It fit perfectly and is a lot quieter than the Hayward. Very easy to install and cant beat the price. Highly recommended!

Motor is of better quality than other more expensive pumps I've purchased in the past. It has been working flawlessly for almost a year. Extremely quiet compared to previous used motors. The only issue that I had on installation was routing and connecting wires inside of motor. Part of the issue was that the wire was routed through rubber conduit.

Had my current pump (Pentair) fry. Non repairable. Had to purchase a new electric motor for my pump…. so started looking around at local pool stores and the internet. These are just electric motors running at a defined 3450 rpm. I was not about to pay $700+ for a Pentair : Jandy motor replacement. Or even $400 for a century (Rockwell). All are made in china anyway. So why? Took a chance on this vevor pump. Only $153. And $25 to add a 3 year warranty. Free shipping. Still less than a new pump. Arrived in 48 hours. No hassle. Installed the motor. Easy to put in. Comes w test lines you need to remove and pre wired for 230v. Direct fit to my existing equipment 3 wires, 6 bolts and remounting the impeller. Easy for anyone to manage - even with limited mechanical skills. Just watch a YouTube video. The pump is running great. It’s quiet. No more noisy than the Pentair motor I had. Runs perfect Why would I spend $700 for a “Branded” motor w a 12 month warranty? I spent under $200 (tax and warranty included). Got a brand new motor and a 3 year warranty. Seems quite a bargain. And it works great. I would never spend money on a branded electric motor if vevor is available.

Best 1 hp Hayward replacement motor installed in 15 years of pool ownership. 1.4 service factor. No centrifugal capacitor switching. 5/8” shaft lock with good access. Decent thermal overload.

I bought the motor in August of 2024 and installed it for my inground pool. I run the motor 24/7. As of January 2026, it is still going strong. For the price, I recommend this motor replacement for any pool owner.

Motor has been installed for a month. Replaces a century motor after about 6 years. The Vevor motor is visibly better built. Access to the locking flat at the back of the motor is easy compared to the others I've installed. I also think the shaft is larger in diameter. Runs as quiet as any other. Comes with a 3 year warranty. For the money SHIPPED is no comparison. Very happy with all my Vevor purchases.
