I ordered this pump in Oct '24, at the tail end of the swimming season. Delivery was prompt. There is a design improvement over my last (Hayward) pump - the rear of the shaft can be accessed easily, without having to remove, or loosen, the capacitor (you need to do this to remove the impeller). This a high quality pump for a reasonable price! I will update this review at the end of the 2025 season.

Perfect fit, half the price of others

I bought this to replace the motor on my 10+ year old pool pump that was starting to get week. It installed really easily and is definitely stronger than the motor it replaced. Time will tell whether it'll last as long, but for the price, it was worth the gamble. The only complaint I have is that it is a little noisier than the old motor, but it's not too bad.

Great produce. Very powerful. I use it for a waterfall at my house.

Used it for one season to replace my pump which broke. Swap was easy and it worked well. Will see how many season it does but at that price great value for money

Works great so far ! A little longer than my old one but no problem fit perfectly!

Good quality product, excellent price, arrived 1 day early, very well packaged, motor preforms very well.

Great purchase

Perfect fit replacement pump at a great price point.

I used this motor to replace a 1.5HP motor on a Pentair Whisperflo pool pump about 4 weeks ago. I wired it as a 240V (vs the optional 120V). It's working great so far. The "service factor" for this motor is lower (1.1 vs 1.4) than the original Pentair unit so time will tell if the price was "too good to be true", but so far I can't tell any difference. Price was excellent and delivery was amazingly fast. A gripe is the space for wiring connections is tight on this motor making an in-place replacement a little more difficult. I do wish you could grip the motor shaft to tighten the pump impeller without removing the end cover but that's no deal breaker. I liked this motor so much I ordered a 2nd to have on hand as a spare.
