For so many years pool parts have been priced at a premium. It’s a nice change to find a premium part at a reasonable price. The pump fit my Hayward pump perfectly without issue. The technology was superior to what I was replacing. It went together fast and is so much quieter than what I had.

Purchased this pool pump motor last summer during pool season to replace a broken pump motor. Wanted to have some time running the pump motor before I gave a review. I replaced the pump motor myself and it went pretty smoothly. I live in the south and I run my pump 24 hours a day, the pump runs quiet and I have had no issues so for. Would recommend this pump motor.

I ordered this pump in Oct '24, at the tail end of the swimming season. Delivery was prompt. There is a design improvement over my last (Hayward) pump - the rear of the shaft can be accessed easily, without having to remove, or loosen, the capacitor (you need to do this to remove the impeller).
This a high quality pump for a reasonable price!
I will update this review at the end of the 2025 season.
