Ingebouwd in eigen bootje. Redelijk simpele installatie oogt degelijk. Nu 1 keer mee gevaren en is een genot ten aanzien van een kabel.. prijs in verhouding tot andere nederlandse leveranciers erg scherp.

Très bon rapport qualité prix, Je l'ai monté sur un moteur hors-bord yamaha 80cv 4temps, J'en suis vraiment très satisfait.

This is an excellent kit but my experience has been painful to say the least. My issues: 1. Instructions are appalling and written in typical Chinese English. As a result, what should have been a relatively easy install took 3 times longer than it should as some things ended up being trial and error. I am mechanically experienced having done much more complicated work. 2. Tech support virtually non existent. Replies are prompt but it is almost like speaking with a BOT: (i) Asked question regarding how much hydraulic oil the unit takes for a first fill. Tech support responded telling me what type of oil to use. Asked again, pointing out that they had not answered the question asked. Same response. Finally on the third attempt I received an answer telling me that I needed 2L. Ended up only needing 1L. (ii) Compression fitting snapped during install. Asked tech support of the type and spec /thread count etc. Couldn't give me a reply. Didn't even know which part I was referring to despite a clear explanation. I ran around town going to all specialty hydraulic stores within an hour's drive. Noone could match the part. Ended up heading to marine mechanic and guessed that it was a Seastar copy. Finally received this part at a cost of $47. Two weeks after commissioning and running the boat with new steering , tech support finally replied stating that they would send me replacement fittings. Great that they did this but a frustrating experience. Received new parts 6 weeks after purchase. So, I'm complaining a bit here as all of the above was avoidable and cost me heaps in terms of time and effort. On the plus side, the unit performs very well -steering has improved considerably. It's not finger touch but it's not far off that either. A very worthy upgrade.

Product works great. Fairly easy to install. Only problem is they don’t tell what type of hydraulic fluid you need to use. Called the company for support and never did get a straight answer just hydraulic steering fluid. Only problem with that is there are a few different types. Some oil based and some mineral oil based.

The steering on my Ranger boat seized and ripped apart, so I decided to retrofit it with hydraulic. Vevor was the least expensive option. To remove all of the old system took a long time, considering 30 years of corrosion. To install the new system took maybe 4 hours. I had two minor issues on installation; 1) The arms did not reach far enough to bolt to the cylinder shafts, so I took a 3-pound hammer and bent them further. A $500 kit, so no turning back now. Next, the flare nut that was included had stripped out, so I used the original brass that I had. The strength and quality of the nut it is questionable. Other than that, everything else installed smoothly, and I had it out on the water just a few hours ago.

Thr product was solid, easy to install. The only problem I've had so far is that the nut was backwards but easy enough to pop the clip off and flip it. Never installed or worked on boat parts but install and fit was on point.

Baylienr made it impossible to replace steering cable without removing motor so instead I ordered this kit and took a weekend to do thw install. Instructions were very clear but watching videos helped a lot since I was new to hydraulic boat steering. Hardest part was making thw hole bigger in the helm for the new part to fit through. Second hardest was routing the hoses but that is unique to bauliner sue to limited access to the stern starboard area. Im very happy with the end result with almost finger level turning while under way. Makes for much more confident handling when loading and unloading and so far no leaks or issues at all with the system after several lake outings and lots and rough water. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with the bayliner elements with steering cable vs hydraulic. Worth the cost and future proofing against any issues.

Had to replace the ram on customers boat , because the seal replacements you sent , you cannot fit back to the unit , without damaging the seals . You need a special tool to do this , which you dont sell the tool

Well built ststem. I live it Installed it ln my lill boat with the 115 motor and it just works smooth.
