I received the grinder in a nice wooden box, however, the bolts used to secure it to the box frame broke off and the arm arrived sticking through the side. It did not look damaged. The wiring was not secured to the fitting, so the siring into the VFD pulled out. I solder the wire back into the blade housing and plugged it in. The issue I discovered was the main arm and the channel it fits into are an 1/8-3/16 out. I have aluminum shims on one side and top of the steel square stock and now it fits snug into the channel. Other than that, it seems to be worth the money when compared with other non-Chinese products and cost.

I purchased the Vevor 2x72 belt grinder for blacksmithing and knife making. I have put it through the paces and it has held up. The only issue is there is no instructions on how to use the VFD. Finding any information on the internet has not been successful. That is really my only complaint. All in all it is a good belt grinder. The price point was right in my wheel house and set up was a breeze.

Overall the unit rus great. The on/off switch didnt work so i had to rewire it to bypass the on/off switch. Works great now. If I got a new on/off switch that would be sweet but I not worried about it.

Nice little sander, need some finer grit belts.

I use this to sharpen knives. + Tracks well edge leading + Runs fairly smoothly for the pricepoint + Easy to set it up + Feels sturdy - Can't get it to track edge leading (opposite direction) - Cables to the VFD is to exposed. Had to use tape to secure it. All in all it seems like a good entry 25x762. Only used it for a couple of months so time will tell if the quality is good.

This 2x72 grinder has many features of much higher priced units. I really like the VFD at this price point and the included different diameter wheels sizes for different grinder tasks plus the ability to pivot to the side position. It ran straight and true out of the box and was easy to set up. Switching attachments is a breeze and after 1 year of knife making grinding wood, composites and metal it is still running with no issues. Three issues I think could be improved however are that the platen seems soft and may degrade with continued use, the work table attached is quite small and the painted surface rubs off causing uneven spots. lastly the adjustment for belt tracking I find tricky to adjust when using small grinding wheels as it’s hard to reach and make small adjustments with. I’ve got the hang of it but it could be simplified. I am going to attach a bigger table and replace the platen with a glass unit. Overall a great unit that has been reliable and runs smoothly for the price, which is MUCH cheaper than many name brand units. I’d like to buy local but not when I’m getting hosed for branding.
