This is a very good and flexible machine. It will speed up my business and with quality.

I use it strictly for sharpening knives with a 800-1000 grit belt. Works great.

Un excellent rapport qualité prix, pour qui se lance dans le montage de couteau, ça me paraît très bien. Livraison rapide dans un colis bien adapté. Juste deux vis à resserrer suite aux vibrations lors du transport. Montage assez intuitif, réglage vitesse efficace, premiers essais tout à fait satisfaisants.

For the cost, you can't beat this machine. You may need to make some tweaks to improve its performance but it has plenty of power for the intended use.

I bought this grinder to replace my Rikon 1 x 30 belt grinder that was several years old. The price was about 10% more than the Rikon but the grinders are night and day apart. There are very few cons in my list and so I ditched the Rikon grinder without a second glance. There is simply no comparison between the two. The Rikon design is very common in grinders of this size. This Vevor grinder's design is much more like larger, 2 x 72 grinders. This is a huge advantage. Pros: - Variable speed and reversing using a VFD, giving precise control over belt speeds and direction. Very nice. - Belt changes are quick and simple, with an easily accessible handle to release belt tension. - Belt tracking is quick and simple to adjust, and once set does not vary. - Multiple grinding accessories are included, both a 4" hard rubber wheel and a sturdy flat steel platen with rollers at each end, which provides rock solid support across the entire belt width. - The entire assembly pivots 90 degrees, with a different support plate ideal for this position. - Quiet operation and smooth running, with a powerful motor. Cons: - Getting the support plate square to the belt is fussy, with too much reliance on hex wrench (included) - Tilting the assembly also requires some hex wrenching.

Je regrette que le grain des 3 bandes fournies soit IDENTIQUE "110", Quelques ébavurages a faire et une fixation pour le variateur, Je l'ai testé sur bois et métal: c'est OK ! Pas de vibration et la bande ne bouge pas une fois réglée et bien tendue Je recommande ce produit.

Die Schleifmaschine ist in einer Soliden und guten Verpackung angeliefert worden. Die Verarbeitung der einzelnen Komponenten an der Maschine sind in einer guten Qualität. dIe elektrischen Anschlüsse am Frequenzumrichter könnten aber noch etwas profesioneller verdeckt werden. Ein Notschalter wäre ebenfalls von Vorteil. Wer etwas handwerklich Begabt ist dürfte dieses Mango aber kein Problem sein, es ist mit wenig finanziellen und arbeitszeitlichen Aufwand verbunden. Ich habe die Kabel verlängert damit der Frequenzumrichter in weiterer Entfernung abgelegt werden kann, einen Notschalter dazwischen installiert und bin damit sehr zufrieden. Eine Schutzabdeckung für das Schleiferband mit einem Absaugstutzen wäre noch das absolute Highlight. Aber man darf nicht vergessen, welcher Preis für die Maschine gezahlt wird. Die Handhabung ist sehr einfach und Zweckentsprechend. Fazit! Der Bandschleifer ist eine Bereicherung meiner Werkstatt ich würde ihn auch wieder kaufen und er macht das was er soll.

As a knife maker, this little sander/grinder fits a perfect niche between full scale 2” x 72”grinders and rotary tool applications. Prior to ordering, I was skeptical about the power of this small motor for some applications. After using for a few weeks, the motor is more than sufficient for any scale job that you would be using this for. The features on this little grinder justify the price. Having vertical and horizontal applications, separate work tables for each, along with a standard platen and a contact wheel plus variable frequency drive and reversibility really give this tool a lot of versatility. I find the sanding belts that came with the device are subpar, but are functional for a very brief period of time. I cannot speak to the longevity, but initial impressions are high. I would strongly recommend this machine for serious hobbyists, knife makers, or anyone who has a use for a functional machine at this size.
