It works but not the way i was expecting it to work. Temperature setting control is basically useless. You can set it to something say 20 to 30 degrees above ambient temp and it never ramps up heat output to get to temperature setpoint. I have to use their gear mode, 1 - 6, which is basically a predetermined output. The display, it is not an LCD display has very low brightness. You can barely see screen when there is light in the room. There is no adjustment for screen brightness.

Comprato ed installato senza troppe difficoltà esternamente ad una casetta che uso per fare lavoretti domestici. Andato in funzione senza grossi problemi.. Ma... non appena partito è iniziata il martellamento della pompa del Gasolio, avevo letto di un "ticchettio fastidioso", nel mio caso si tratta proprio di un incessante martellamento che chiaramente si diffondo nella castta come cassa armonica. Chiaramente ho subito acquistato una pompa che (dice) essere meno rumorosa, in pratica al 50% del prezzo del riscaldatore; speriamo solo risolva, altrimenti sono stati soldi (e tempo) buttati al vento. Oltre a questo la manulistica per l'utilizzo del pannello di configurazione e gestione dell'apparato è quantomeno poco intuitiva, per non dire che difficile riuscire a capire qualche cosa. Vediamo, per ora sono non molto soddisfatto.

Exhaust location isn't great or ideal. It's only going to keep a small enclosed space warm.

the unit starts and runs just fine. i was using a 5kw electric heater that worked pretty good but i was wanting more heat so i purchased this thinking it would be an upgrade. i dont think this unit produces any more heat than my 5kw electric heater. in fact maybe a little less heat. i also tried mixing 50/50 diesel and used filtered transmission fluid and it burned that with no problems. the unit works fine, no problems, but i haven't had it very long so i cant say anything about long term quality. i would have given it 5 stars if it gave 8kw of heat.

3 ème exemplaire. La première fuyait du gasoil, la deuxième a très bien fonctionné jusqu'à tomber en panne sèche, après quoi il a été impossible à la faire redémarrer. Celle-ci fonctionne parfaitement bien ... jusqu'à présent. Ca reste un bon produit de bon rapport qualité/prix. Un peu fragile, peut-être... dans son fonctionnement.

worked good for about 3 days then shut off with a E5 code overheating, let sit a few hours and started it back up ran fine till I shut it off, worked ok the next couple days, then out of no where shuts off again E5, if i run it on 3 or 4 seems ok, it did shut off one time on 4, doubt I would buy another one, it is pretty easy on fuel I'll give it that

Un peu déçu, tout le monde vente les mérites de ces chauffages mais très clairement il ne produit pas 8kw, mon 4kW produit plus d'air chaud plus rapidement et avec plus de débit, donc soit il à un problème soit ce n'est pas un 8kw Autre chose même malgré la réception de la notice traduite en français l'utilisation des programme reste très aléatoire

I bought the 2kw Vevor heater because it was cheaper than the parts to fix my Espar D2. This is a decent kit; it comes with everything you need to get set up and running. I installed this in my Kenworth, and it bolted right into the same spot the Espar was in. I had to extend the wires for the digital display a few feet since the harness wasn’t long enough to reach the location of the Espar’s controller. I really like the remote control; I can start the unit from the driver’s seat and have it warmed up before I stop driving for the day. My only complaint is that although it’s rated the same 2kw as my old heater, it really struggles to keep my cab warm. (Today it’s 6 degrees F. outside) This unit will run set at 100% and keep the truck at 60-65 degrees F. The old Espar would easily keep the cab 75-80 degrees set at 50%. I think it would be better to look at the 5kw Vevor unit instead if you’re replacing a 2kw genuine Espar D2 airtronic heater.

It's a great heater for small spaces, but don't be fooled that it will heat an entire shop. If your working at a bench it will heat around you enough to be comfortable but any bigger than day a standard living room not so much. Probably be ok in a sleeper cab or small camper/ motor home

The unit is reasonable in price…but it was not plug-in ready ( which was not mentioned in the product description). I had to purchase an adapter compatible for diesel heater and the exhaust pipe is short limiting the placement for the heater. Furthermore the unit will not power on what so ever. I am still waiting for customer support specialist to rectify a solution. At the very least it should be plug in ready.
