I purchased this item thinking it has a laser light on it. Lining up the paper to ensure the cut is a challenge. This item isn't working out the way I thought it would.

Merece la pena gastar un poco mas y tener una que al dar el corte aporte mas seguridad en que va recto. Aquí hay que tener cuidado y si unes varias hojas peor

Très déçu de ce massicot. Je l’ai acheté le **31 mars 2025** et, malgré une utilisation assez occasionnelle, il ne coupe déjà plus correctement. Je l’ai utilisé pour environ **150 à 200 découpes seulement**, principalement sur du papier/carton, et la lame est déjà devenue quasiment inutilisable : elle écrase et déchire les feuilles au lieu de les couper proprement. Pour un massicot de ce type, je trouve la durée de vie de la lame **vraiment décevante**, surtout avec un nombre de découpes aussi faible. Je m’attendais à pouvoir l’utiliser beaucoup plus longtemps avant de rencontrer ce genre de problème.

Another product I waited for and never received!!!!

I purchased this because it was advertised as a heavy-duty paper cutter capable of cutting large stacks of paper. However, from the first time I attempted to use it, I noticed issues that made it unsuitable for my needs. The biggest problem is that the blade does not make a clean slicing cut. Instead, it pushes the paper forward as it cuts, causing the pages to lift, bend, and wrinkle. This happens even when cutting only a small number of sheets of 100gsm paper, nowhere near the advertised cutting capacity. There is also a measurement issue with the cutting guide. The printed grid does not line up in an intuitive way with the actual cutting position, as there is a gap between the ruler markings and where the blade cuts. This makes accurate measuring difficult and requires trial and error to work out the true cutting position. I have now tried to resolve these issues three separate times over the past year. When I first discovered the problem, I contacted VEVOR to request a return/refund, but the support I received was not helpful and the issue was not resolved. For a product marketed as a professional heavy-duty guillotine, I expected accurate measurements and a clean cut. Unfortunately, mine has never performed as expected and I cannot use it for the purpose I purchased it for.

The left paper stabilizer was missing upon delivery. Asking vector Chinese stooges for a replacement part or a link to buy a new one fell on deaf slanted ears. They don’t want to listen. I want to buy the part not return the item, pay for shipping. They’ve stalled for 30 days.

I am just getting into book binding. Every book I have cut so far have about 300-400 pages. I have maxed it out once. The issue I have it that no matter how tight I crank it down, it always moves. Its nothing that makes a HUGE difference. If you want perfection I might not suggest this one to you. I don't mind. It is usually about 1-2 mm different between the top measurement and the bottom. I bet if I was doing something smaller it also would help.

Petit problème quand on coupe le début du papier et abîmé et pour régler la lame il n'y pas de réglage precis

Tout s'est très bien passé au début, coupe droite pas de soucis. Après avoir fait à peu près 200 découpe de papier 160 gr feuille à feuille, la lame semble émoussée, elle ne coupe plus sur toute la longueur mais déchire à certains endroits, et que dire de la tenue de la feuille, à chaque découpe la feuille n'est plus tenue (est-ce que c'est à cause de lame???) la feuille se déforme à chaque découpe, je fais des découpe pour un client et je me retrouve avec des feuilles déformée pas top au niveau de la qualité.

The blade detached within 3 months of occasional use. Never used it on over 250 pages, because that was when it started getting too hard to use. Used it less than 10 times a month. To get a replacement, I would’ve had to find a box big and strong enough to support it and take it to FedEx. Not feasible when you no longer have the original box and don’t own a car. This cutter is too big and heavy for one person to maneuver.
