Simple and effective very good for the price. Have used it many times, I replaced the supplied stirrer with a more diamond shaped one which is more stable at a higher speed.

Used various mantles in my work but for the money seems a good product, time will tell on durability as only used twice. Magnetic stir bar that comes with it too small as does not rotate when on high speed. A minor issue as not the mantle, itself, just need a bigger bar for a 1000ml flask. Cheap enough to buy a larger one anyway.Would recommend, particularly for those starting out or on a budget such as myself.

The 1000 ml beaker barely fits in the mantle. Products working okay so far. Other than the All or nothing heating control. we will see what happens next
