received pump on Aug 16, installed it 8/17 with 1” fkexable hose and foot valve (check valve). filled intake hose and pump housing and BINGO, we were in business. pumps a ton of water-fast. love it so far. Very handy for water yard and cleaning equipment, cars and boat, quiet and sturdy. good buy. time will tell on indurance.
