1. Er is geen nieuwe software. De graveersoftware bevindt zich op de USB-flashdrive die bij het product wordt geleverd. 2. De lasersoftware gebruikt LaserGRBL en het graveren van het gereedschap gebruikt Candle. LaserGRBL kan de Nederlandse taal op de software kiezen en Candle heeft een Engelse interface.

5 * kit for beginners
Very easy to get up and running with this laser engraver / cnc machine. I initially bought it for the cnc capability which it handles really well. I have tried it mainly on softwoods but I have managed to engrave a sign into oak as well. The laser is easily fitted. You just power it off, remove the drill motor from the z axis (remember to unplug it from the controller card), and put the laser module where the drill motor was (facing down, obviously). Plug the laser wires into the relevant places on the controller card and you're good to go. Before you start engraving you will need to ensure that the laser is switched on (mine has a little switch on the laser module itself) otherwise nothing will be engraved. Be sure to wear the safety glasses - you only get one pair of eyes! The software that comes with the kit is functional. If you want something better there are lots of programs which can help you out - just Google for laser controller software. The laser worked really well engraving onto a variety of woods both soft and hard. It also works well on white tiles if you spray them with white paint first (white paint with a high zinc content seems to work the best). Unfortunately I don't have any images readily available to show you, but I hope this brief review is helpful. In short, if you're just wanting to dabble with cnc and laser engraving, then I highly recommend this kit. If you make it into a business you may want to invest in a larger co2 laser in the future, but this should give you a good start while you're learning the ropes.

Prima lasersnijder. Redelijk makkelijk in elkaar te zetten en met de bijgeleverde software kan je snel aan het werk. Helaas is de bijgeleverde laser niet sterk genoeg om door 3-4mm hout heen te snijden, na 70x er overheen op 100% ben je er nog niet doorheen. Mijn advies zou zijn om een te kopen zonder laser (goedkoper) en er dan een goede, sterkere laser bij te kopen.

Perfect apparaat
De levering ging erg snel. Het monteren van het apparaat was helemaal duidelijk tot het moment van het aansluiten van de bekabeling, daar is niets over te vinden. De printplaat gefotografeerd en uitvergroot, toen lukte het wel. Ik had grag gezien dat de printplaat op enige maniier beschermd zou zijn om de kwetsbaarheid van de electronica te beschermen. Dat vind ik echt een minpuntje. De nazorg van Vevor is geweldig. Mailtjes met vragen worden heel snel beantwoordt. Als het antwoord naar de mening van de klantenservice te lang uitblijft werdt dit onmiddelijk middels een kadobon goed gemaakt

The results so far have been amazing considering the cost, the only problems have been small grubscrews coming loose which can be frustrating. Excellent machine. Building it was almost as good as using it. Shapes and burns really well, can't fault it. The only thing that would improve it would be limit switches but it works fine without. Would highly recommend it.
