can the 3" ball sit securely on the nylon base? Mine seems very unstable and I don't know how to secure it. Very dangerous with a sharp blade if it can't sit completely still.
The design of this product itself is not completely fixed to the plastic base. It is a sphere with a smooth surface and will definitely be able to slide to some extent. If you want more stability, you can only try placing a relatively rough layer between the sphere and the base to increase friction and see if you can achieve the stability you want. If it cannot achieve the desired stability, then this product may not be suitable for your needs.
